It's time to wrap up -- literally and figuratively -- your holiday shopping. If you've been able to accomplish that, then you might be able to take advantage of the opportunities that abound for the next few days.
Tonight, the Second Edition will perform at the Blue Belle Inn in St. Ansgar during a moonlight and mistletoe-themed dinner. Reservations are required by calling (641) 713-3113 and more information can be obtained by viewing the restaurant's Web site at http://www.bluebelleinn.com.
Sunday, there will be a Women of the Moose breakfast. The event takes place from 8 a.m. to noon at the Moose Lodge in Austin.
And if you're looking for a place to enjoy Christmas dinner on Wednesday, you can take part in the Fifth Annual Holiday Community Dinner in the Rasmussen Refectory at St. Olaf Lutheran Church. There is no cost for the dinner, which takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Reservations can be submitted at the Mower County Senior Center, at the church or by calling 437-1700.
