Austin YMCA Firecrackers take sixth

The Austin YMCA Firecrackers gymnastics teams took sixth place with a score of 25.2 in the MAGA Division 5 East meet recently.

In the 10-11 year old age group, Brooke Jasper was first in all-around with a 33.65, first in beam with an 8.65, first in floor with a 9.1, second in vault with an 8.4 and seventh in bars with a 7.5. Kiki Rodriquez was ninth in floor with an 8.25. Katelynn Klouse was sixth in beam with a 7.575. Charlee Young was 11th in floor with an 8.15. Bella Sonnek was 29th in vault with a 7.675.

In the 12-13 years old age group, Jessie Horgen was fifth in bars with a 7.475, 11th in beam with a 7.15, sixth in floor with an 8.225 and ninth in all-around with a 30.8. Emily Klapperich was eighth in beam with a 7.6. Diann Smith was 14th in bars with a 6.85.
