AYB hosting youth tourney

Austin Youth Basketball Association will be hosting the annual Austin Girls Youth Basketball Tournament Saturday.   

The fourth grade tournament will take place at I.J. Holton Intermediate School from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with teams from Austin, NRHEG, Kasson Mantorville, Stewartville, Rochester Lourdes, and Fairmont.

The firth grade tournament will take place at Austin High School from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with teams from Austin, Kasson Mantorville, Blooming Prairie, Lyle Pacelli, Rochester Lourdes, Fairmont, Faribault B.A., Rochester Mayo, NRHEG, and Stewartville.

The sixth grade tournament will take place at Ellis Middle School from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with teams from Austin, NRHEG, Kasson Mantorville, Stewartville, Blooming Prairie, Triton, Waseca, Mason City, Fairmont, and Rochster Lourdes.The 7th and 8th grade combined tournament will take place at Austin High School from 9:10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with teams from Austin, Rochester Lourdes, Stewartville, Fairmont, and St. Ansgar, Iowa.  

The admission for all three locations (all day) will be $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students and free to ages 5 and under.
