BP girls knock off Alden-Conger

BLOOMING PRAIRIE — The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team beat No. 6 Alden-Conger (10-15 overall) 59-28 in the first round of the Section 1A West Division tournament in BP Friday.

BP sophomore Sara Noble had 12 points, freshman Madison Worke had 11 points and freshman Taylor Hagen had 10 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks.

The No. 3 seeded Awesome Blossoms (14-11 overall) hit 7-of-15 threes.

BP will take on No. 2 seeded Faribault Bethlehem Academy at Mayo Civic Auditorium Monday at 7:30 p.m. FBA ended BP’s season the last two years but the teams split the regular season series.
