Include your garage sale in city-wide event

Graphic by Colby Hansen

The 10th annual official Austin city-wide garage sale is organized by the Austin Daily Herald and had over 40 sales last year.

By taking part in the official garage sale, participants get their ad in the Herald May 3 and 4 on a map and list of sales; in an interactive map on the Herald’s website homepage for a week before the sales; on the Herald’s Facebook page and Twitter feed; and the benefit of being a part of a large garage sale event.

With 10 lines for $10, list your sale, along with whatever gems have been hiding around the house. Bolster your ad with borders for an extra $1, or a STOP sign for an extra $2.

Submit the form and automatically be entered for a chance to win Chanhassen dinner theater tickets or a Perkins pie.

The deadline for ads is Tuesday, May 1. Call 507-437-8644 for more information.

Find the form here.
