Rural G.M. home burglarized
Numerous appliances and copper piping are missing after a rural Grand Meadow man told deputies someone burglarized the home he is watching.
Mower County Sheriff’s deputies went to the rural home on 280th Street near Grand Meadow after the caretaker reported missing items at about 4 p.m. on Monday. According to the report, someone allegedly stole a washer, dryer, refrigerator, antique vanity, a TV and copper piping. The owner was reportedly in Texas at the time.
The caretaker said the burglary happened sometime during the last week, as he was last on the property on Tuesday, May 22.
