Car towed, starts on fire
One Austin man ran into bad luck Tuesday afternoon when his car started on fire while being towed by Midtown Towing.
Christopher Levai’s 2005 Ford Focus was being towed around noon Tuesday after breaking down in Interstate 90 when it started on fire.
Police Chief Brian Krueger said the fire happened around the intersection of Interstate 90 and Fourth St. NW. Austin Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the flames.
The cause was electrical, Krueger said.
A damage estimate is unavailable at this time.
