Edward Jones ranks among nation’s best places to work

Financial-services firm Edward Jones ranked No. 5 on Fortune magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For 2012” list in its 13th appearance on the prestigious list.

Edward Jones, which has offices in Austin, also ranked No. 3 for large-sized companies and No. 2 for work-life balance for associates who feel “encouraged to balance their work and personal life.” The firm was the highest ranking financial-services firm on the list.

Topping the list was Google, followed by Boston Consulting Group, SAS Institute and Wegmans Food Markets.
