Man pleads guilty to criminal sexual conduct 13 years after incident

A 52-year-old who is illegally living in the U.S. pleaded guilty last Monday to second-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Juan Raul DelCastillo-Hernandez signed a Padilla vs. Kentucky waiver, which is an admission to living illegally in the U.S. DelCastillo-Hernandez was also using the alias Rodolfo Flores and Damiacio Saucedo Jr., according to the court complaint.

Police began investigating DelCastillo-Hernandez in 2005 after discovering he had contact with a 10-year-old in 1999. The girl, who came forward years later, said DelCastillo-Hernandez grabbed her and tried to touch her genitals in 1999 while she was playing with her friends. The victim also stated that there is another young victim with whom DelCastillo-Hernandez was later involved. The court complaint does not state details in that case. DelCastillo-Hernandez was originally arrested in 2006. He was again arrested in the area this July on a warrant.

DelCastillo-Hernandez has yet to be sentenced.
