Hayfield boys basketball team takes down Z-M

The Hayfield boys basketball team won its fourth straight game to open the season as it topped Zumbrota-Mazeppa (0-2 overall, 0-2 HVL) by a score of 68-30 in Hayfield Tuesday.

Cole Kruger tallied 16 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists for the Vikings (4-0 overall, 4-0 HVL) and Jeremy Stuart added 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Hayfield has now held all four of its opponents to 40 points or less.
