NWS issues heat advisory for Wednesday

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, which could be extended into Thursday.
NWS meteorologists are calling for a very hot and humid Wednesday with temperatures between 95 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit, with heat indices of 100 to 105 degrees.
Residents should take precautions when stepping outside tomorrow by avoiding strenuous activity and drinking plenty of water to stay hydrated.
