Driver class offered for 55 and older

The Minnesota Highway Safety Center will offer several driver improvement classes this week.

The course is open to the public; pre-registration is requested. A Minnesota Highway Safety and Research Center certified instructor teaches the classes. The fee for the four-hour refresher course is $20. The eight-hour course is $24. For more information or to register, visit mnsafetycenter.org or call 888-234-1294.

— Hayfield Elementary School from 5 to 9 p.m. Nov. 14 and 15.
— Blooming Prairie School from 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 14 and 15.
— Wells Federal Bank, Wells, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 15.

Four-hour courses
— Wells Federal Bank from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 15.
— Vern Eide Chevrolet, Albert Lea, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m., Nov. 15.
