Forum on diversity in economic development, inclusion
The Chicano Latino Affairs Council and the Minnesota Department of the Employee Economic Development is inviting Austinites to their economic development forum.
The forum — from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, at the Riverland Community College Austin Campus East Building room C125 — will focus on the importance of diversity in the economic development of a community and the inclusion of new immigrants to that process.
The event will also include information on how to start a business. They will answer questions about topics such as financing, necessary permits, and tax incentives. The meeting will be in English and Spanish, and all are welcome.
