LP boys just miss an upset over Houston
The Lyle-Pacelli boys basketball team just missed knocking off the second best team in the Southeast Conference in a 61-59 loss to Houston (14-3 overall, 10-1 SEC) in Pacelli Gym Friday.
The Hurricanes scored with seven seconds left to pick up the win.
“This is the first game all year where we played all thirty-six minutes,” LP head coach Casey Anderson said. “It just so happened that they got a good look in the last seven seconds.”
Skylar Meyer had 25 points, 18 rebounds, nine blocks and three steals for the Athletics (7-10 overall, 4-7 SEC).
