Chef Jack treating senior center visitors to lunch

At 12:30 p.m. on Friday, The Cedars of Austin will present Lunch with Chef Jack and Music with Chris Von Arx.

Put on your dancing shoes and come on down to the Mower County Senior Center to hear music from Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, Hank Williams and more. The Cedars will be serving, Chef Jack’s Valentines hors d’ oeuvre lunch with sweetheart dessert and cranberry cocktail. Serving starts 12:30 p.m. Music with Chris Von Arx starts at 1 p.m.

Please make your reservations in advance by stopping by the senior center or calling the front desk at 507-433-2370. Limited seating to the first 100 people.

You may not be old now, but if you’re lucky, one day you will be.

We look forward to seeing you at our many programs at the senior center. Don’t forget our coffee shop where every day you can have homemade soup for $1 and sandwich for 50 cents. Don’t forget Tuesday is hotdish day. We are having scalloped potatoes and ham for only $2. You are always welcome at the center.
