Lawrence Gerber, 85, of Austin, Minn., died on Dec., 26, 2013, at Stewartville Care Center. Lawrence was born July 21, 1928, in Adams, Minn., to Martha (Blonigan) & John Gerber. He was united in marriage to Harriet Heffern on Aug. 15, 1953.

Survivors include his stepchildren, Judy (John) Grabau, of Minnesota; Marena (Joe) Costello, of Colorado; Bill (Barb) Richards, of Florida; Sue (Jerry) Ferguson, of New York; Gene (Sandra) Heffern, of Arkansas; David (Julie) Heffern, of Indiana; Dennis (Pauline) Heffern, of New Mexico; nieces Kaye (Duane) Gerber, of Minnesota; Pat (Dick) Koenigs of Minnesota; grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Friday, April 18, 2014, at Grandview Cemetery in Austin, MN, with Deacon John Kluczny officiating.
