Offense

QB — John Rumpza, Blooming Prairie

The Minnesota Mr. Football candidate had a big year for the Awesome Blossoms as he went 194-for-297 (65.3 percent) with 3,153 yards, 44 TDs and three interceptions. The senior shared the ball as four Blossoms had at least nine TD receptions on the season. Rumpza ran for 265 yards (5.2 per carry) and three TDs. Rumpza finishes his BP career with the second most career TD passes (112) in Minnesota history and the second most career passing yards (8,991) in state history.

RB — Landon Jacobson, Grand Meadow

The senior led the Superlarks to the team’s second straight Class nine man state title as he ran for 1,617 yards (7.1 per carry) and 29 TDs. Jacobson hauled in 14 passes for 252 yards (18.0 average) and five TDs. Despite racking up 2,322 total yards, Jacobson had just one lost fumble this season. Jacobson finished his GM career second in Minnesota history with 9,053 career all-purpose yards behind Phillip Nelson of Mankato West, and he finishes seventh in state history with 5,522 career rushing yards. Jacobson scored 96 career TDs, which is the school record for GM.

 RB — Jake Decker, Blooming Prairie

The senior back finished his BP football career on a high note as he amassed 1,594 total yards and 19 total TDs. Decker ran for 1,114 yards (7.2 per carry) with 10 TDs and he caught 30 passes for 480 yards (16 per catch) and nine TDs.

 RB — Brandon Edgar, Austin

The junior was a big play maker in the backfield for the Packers as he ran for 968 yards (5.6 average) and scored 14 TDs. Edgar caught four passes for 12 yards.

 WR — Cole Byers-Sunde, Blooming Prairie

The senior hauled in 60 passes for 801 yards (13.4 per catch) and nine TDs. Byers-Sunde ran for 236 yards (7.1 per carry) and four TDs.

 WR — Tristen Haberman, Blooming Prairie

The senior deep threat caught 45 passes for 903 yards (20 per catch) and 14 TDs.

 OL — Logan Hotek, Austin

The senior was a vital force up front for a Packer team that lived with its running game this season.

 OL — Wyatt Richardson,  Grand Meadow

The three-year starter used his agility and quickness to control the line of scrimmage for the Superlarks.

 OL — Colton Allen, Southland

The senior bounced back from a very serious knee injury last year to step up and play strong for a run-heavy Southland team up front.

 OL — Zach Nirk, Blooming Prairie

The senior center showed a lot of versatility for a Blooming Prairie team that balanced the pass and the run.

 OL — Jordan Miland, Grand Meadow

The senior brought a tough attitude and a lot of quickness to lead the GM line.

DEFENSE 

S — Anthony Nelson,  Blooming Prairie

The junior racked up 95 tackles with two interceptions, a fumble forced and a fumble recovered.

S — Cody Ojulu, Grand Meadow

The senior had 60 tackles, five interceptions and a fumble recovery.

 CB — Michael Stejskal,  Grand Meadow

The junior was strong against the run and the pass as he had 83 total tackles, three interceptions and three fumble recoveries.

 CB —Tristen Haberman,  Blooming Prairie

The senior had 28 tackles and picked off seven passes.

LB — Landon Jacobson,  Grand Meadow

The senior was a force in the middle as he racked up 140 total tackles with three interceptions, three fumble recoveries and a sack.

LB — Jackson Koenigs, Southland

Despite missing three games due to injury and being banged up for most of the season, the junior had 65 tackles, six sacks, 10 tackles for a loss and two fumble recoveries for the Rebels.

LB — Scott Romeo, Blooming Prairie

The senior racked up 98 tackles, 15 tackles for a loss, a sack and a half and five passes defensed.

 LB —Kole Igou, Austin

The senior had 83 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, four sacks, two fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles.

DL — Blake Benson, Grand Meadow

The sophomore had 90 tackles, eight sacks and a fumble recovery.

 DL — Collin Wobschall,  Blooming Prairie

The senior had 50 tackles, a sack, and 10 tackles for a loss.

 DL — Jordan Miland, Grand Meadow

The senior had 99 tackles and three sacks.

HONORABLE MENTION

DL — Wyatt Richardson, Grand Meadow

The senior had 69 tackles, a sack and two fumble recoveries.

QB — Michael Stejskal,  Grand Meadow

The junior completed 54.6 percent of his passes as he threw for 1,229 yards, 22 TDs and three interceptions. Stejskal ran for 555 yards (5.7 per carry) and seven TDs.

RB/LB — Christophor Bain, Grand Meadow

The sophomore ran for 628 yards (8.1 per carry) and 10 TDs. As a linebacker, Bain had 60 total tackles, two interceptions, a sack and a fumble recovery.

 TE — Cody Ojulu, Grand Meadow

The senior hauled in 17 passes for 356 yards (20.9 per catch) and seven TDs.

DL — Connor Hartson, Grand Meadow

The junior had 69 tackles, five sacks and a fumble recovery.

WR/CB — Blake Olson, Grand Meadow

The senior had 16 catches for 359 yards (22.4 per catch) and six TDs and he ran for 150 yards (9.4 per carry) and two TDs. On defense, Olson had 40 tackles, three interceptions and three fumble recoveries.

 LB — Jon Hatch, Blooming Prairie

The junior had 84 tackles, 12 tackles for a loss, three sacks and  three fumble recoveries.

CB — Connor Sheehan, Austin

The senior had 73 tackles, four tackles for a loss, two fumbles forced and a pass defensed.

 QB/RB — Nate Conner, Austin

The junior ran for 813 yards (5.2 average) and seven TDs, and he threw for 550 yards four TDs and five interceptions.

 QB — Jordan Hart, Lyle-Pacelli

The senior went 130-for-272 on passing as he threw for 1,890 yards, 19 TDS and 14 interceptions. Hart ran for 414 yards (7.4 per carry) and seven TDs.

RB — Daniel Bollingberg,  Lyle-Pacelli

The junior ran for 658 yards (5.9 per carry) with eight TDs and he caught 26 passes for 410 yards and four TDs. Bollingberg had 479 return yards as well.

DL/OL — Hunter Gehrke,  Lyle-Pacelli

The senior helped plug up the hole in the middle for the Athletics as he had 36 tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Gehrke also was a solid blocker for LP.

 QB — Jace Bunne, LeRoy-Ostrander

The senior ran for 1,369 yards (6.6 per carry) and 11 TDs and he went 94-for-207 on passing with 1,205 yards and 11 TDs.

DL — Matt Helgeson,  LeRoy-Ostrander

The senior racked up 107 tackles and six sacks.
