Man sentenced to prison after violating probation
An Austin man was sentenced to nearly two years in prison Thursday for violating his probation.
Travis Stigney, 25, was convicted of second-degree burglary in June 2010 for stealing prescription medications in 2009. He was sentenced to 10 years probation, but the recent violation has resulted in the prison time.
Stigney will get credit for 106 days already served.
Stigney reportedly stole 15 mg of Adderall and 5 mg of dextroamphetamine from an Austin woman in December 2009.
