Tuesdays on Main to feature street dance

This week’s Tuesdays on Main is all about hit music and dancing in the street.

The weekly event will feature a street dance and “Classic Gold,” a band out of Minneapolis that plays covers of pop music from the 60s through today. The event — located on the four blocks of Main Street between Fourth Avenue and Oakland — will start at 3:30 p.m. today. Classic Gold begins at 5:15 p.m. The party also includes dozens of vendors, food, shopping and other entertainment.

Tuesdays on Main started July 10 and will go through Sept. 25. Upcoming themes include Cajun cooking and fun on Aug. 7, “Hot Days, Hot Dogs and Hot Rods” on Aug. 14, “Women’s Night Out” on Aug. 21 and another street dance on Aug. 28 featuring “Eden.”
